The exhibition «Treasures of ancient Murom» devoted little documented history of the era and represents the» ideal «hail-Murom, filled with true stories, tales, legends, as well as real events that took place at the Murom earth in the distant pre-Petrine times. The main characters — Baptist St. Murom. Prince Constantine, Michael and Theodore, patron of a happy marriage, Peter and Fevronia, Ulyanov righteous Lazarus; citizens, investors and builders of churches and monasteries, the characters Murom stories.
The exposition offers a unique presentation and the most valuable pieces of ancient art, reflecting the uniqueness of the culture of medieval Murom.
